We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Lewis Charles Keipe of Littleton, North Carolina, born in Pekin, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur William Keipe and Muriel Rosebrook Keipe; his wife Joan Keipe; his former wife Geri Keipe; and his grandsons, William and Nathan Keipe.

He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey C. Keipe and Thomas A. Keipe; his sisters, Muriel Alling of Ripon and Carol Mirr of Green Lake; his grandchildren, Tommy Keipe, Danny Keipe, Amanda Rivera and Taylor Keipe; his great grandchildren, Jamison Keipe, Griffin Keipe, Cora Rivera, Aubry Rivera, Emmitt Rivera, Macie Marie Keipe, Benjamin Keipe and Scott Keipe; and his close friend Mary Coates.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blaylock Funeral Home - Littleton (109 Johnston St, Littleton, NC 27850). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (31 Ebony Rd, Ebony, VA 23845).

“Since condolences on the loss of your father, grandfather, Lewis Keipe. He was a wonderful man. We would mostly see him at 5:30 mass on Saturday evenings or at one of the church events. On the way into church on Saturday evening, he would pause at our pew and have some kind remark for us. He realized before we moved away that my husband, Don was having alot of cognitive issues, but he never treated him differently. He was a good husband to both of his wives. May he rest in peace.”
