He was predeceased by: his parents, Estelle King and Marvin Herndon Wright, Sr.; his son Shawn Wright; and his siblings, Charles Wright and Harriet Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Brandon (Kelly (Raleigh)), Kristy Jo Wright (Roanoke Rapids) and John Cameron Wright (Richmond); and his siblings, Samuel, Wayne Wright (Littleton) and Charlotte Wright (Wise).
