She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Parker and Bessie Worrell Parker; her former husband Jack Marshall Whitehead; and her siblings, J. T. Parker, Lloyd Parker, Margaret Parker Pepper and Josephine Parker Warren.

She is survived by: her husband Norman Perry Bobbitt; her children, Betty Whitehead Broadhurst and Ronald Whitehead (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Duran Redfern Broadhurst, Jr. (Heather) of Wilmington and Elizabeth "Liza" Broadhurst of Littleton; her great grandchildren, Parker, Hendrix, Madeline and Krew; her brother Milton Parker of Rocky Mount; and her extended family, Linda Warren, Joe Wayne Pepper, Kim Johnston, Joseph Braxton Warren and Duran Broadhurst. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
