He is survived by: his children, Edward Richard Ryan (Melinda) of Wilmington, NC, Deborah Ryan Champion (Kenneth) of Norlina and Donna Ryan LaFlamme of Florida; his stepchildren, Kathleen M. Richardson (Ray) of Rochester, NY, Robert Madlinger of Richmond, Perry Madlinger, Timothy Madlinger (Michelle), Willy Madlinger (Michelle) and Alex Madlinger (Leigh) of Richmond; his brothers, Micky Watts (Ronnie) of Maryland, Frank Potter of Maryland, John Potter of Maryland and Bobby Potter of Maryland; and his stepson-in-law Robert Brady. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
