He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Richard Grady Turner, Sr. and Sallie Pearl Snow Turner; his wife Gloria Holmes; his siblings, Grady Turner, James Turner, John Turner, Jerry Turner, Robert Turner, Lena Virginia Faulcon and Betty Jean Payne; his stepchildren, Janet Bell, Willie Holmes, Joseph Holmes, Sheila Gary and Nancy Gorham; his sisters, Marie Turner Brown and Queen Turner Champion (Walter); and his nephews, Melvin George Brown, Victor Hunt and Richard Turner. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
