She was predeceased by : her parents, Eddie Blake and Helen Lynch King; her husbands, Billy Capps Curl and Harold "Pete" Vaughan; and her grandson Joshua Adam Curl.

She is survived by : her son Tommy Curl (Angela) of Littleton; her brother Blake King of Roanoke Rapids; and her grandson T. J. Curl (Megan) of Cooperas Cove, TX.
