He was predeceased by: his father Harold Mount. He is survived by: his wife Lora Lee Mount; his sons, Jeff, Kevin and J. R.; his sisters, Linda Vaughn and Jill Copeland; his grandchildren, David, Andy, Emerson, Ellison and Everett; and his great grandchildren, Isaac and Samuel.

He was an active member of the church for over three decades and donated to various missionaries.
