He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Wesley Hunter and Reecie McCray Hunter (McCray); and his siblings, Peggy Mullis, Floyd Benton Hunter, Larry Wayne Hunter and James Rance Hunter.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna Roberson (Bo); his siblings, Bobbie Sue Hunter and Wesley Lance Hunter (Phyllis); his granddaughters, Amanda and Monica; his great grandchildren, Baylee and Hayden; and his sister-in-law Polly Hunter. He is also survived by several other family members including nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church-Midland at 4720 Garmon Mill Road , Midland, NC 28107.
