He was predeceased by: his parents, Clester Lee Hatley and Pearl Blake Hatley; his girlfriend Melanie Cook Lilly; his stepson Greg Lilly; and his siblings, Trulia, Edith, Clessie, Mary Lou, Wayne and Elaine.
He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Hatley; his stepdaughters, Melissa Moore (Pety) and Tammy Morgan; and his sisters, Vickie Smith and Jeanie Harkey.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Berea Baptist Church (100 Berea Baptist Church Rd, Stanfield, NC 28163).
