He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Sloop and Leona Sloop; and his uncle Carl Belcher. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Coleman Sloop; his daughter Joy Huber (Douglas); and his sister Brenda Jolly (Kenneth). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the First Baptist Church of Locust (320 S Central Ave, Locust, NC 28097). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
