She was predeceased by: her mother Delilah Rosella Tomberlin; and her husband Joe Hood Barbee. She is survived by: her father Judge Loyd Tomberlin; her brother Lewis "Bo" Tomberlin; her sons, Larry "Poncho" Barbee (Nancy) of Locust and Tony Barbee (Shana Helms) of Stanfield; her grandchildren, Michael Barbee (Heather) of Locust, Cameron Barbee of Oakboro and Lauren Simmons (Ryan) of Mint Hill; and her great grandchildren, Kallie Barbee and Kacee Barbee.
