She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Jackson "Jack" Little and Brettie Crayton Little; her husband Leonard James Howell; and her siblings, Worth Little, Hugh J. Little, Mildred Freeman, Hazel Brooks, Doris Beatty and Brenda Carpenter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mandi Howell Summers (Wade) of Locust, NC and Beth Jones of Cameron, NC; her grandchildren, Brittney Speights (Travis), Meredith Long (Blaine) and Connor Jones; her great grandchildren, Lathan Jones, Ellie Kate Long, Jennings Speights and Ember Long; and her brother-in-law Larry Carpenter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
