He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Leo; his daughters, Debra Lynn Fowler Gunter and Roxanne Denise Fowler Maddry; and his sister Sally Crutchfield. He is survived by: his wife Radine Parkhurt Fowler; his children, Brian Leon Fowler of Mooresville and Amanda Gail Fowler of Locust; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Gregory Gunter, Derrick, Joey Maddry and Atlee Galvan; and his siblings, David Mitchell Fowler of Pine Bluff, Michael Fowler of Knoxville, TN, Daisy Mae Barber of Aberdeen and Mary Ann Matthews of Sanford. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
