She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Simpson and Lena Bell Baucom Simpson; her husband Gary Phillip Barbee; her sons, Ronald Lee Barbee and Jeffery Lynn Barbee; and her siblings, Willie "Buck" Marshall Simpson, Henry Paul Simpson and Mary Alice Simpson.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Barbee, Gary Michael Barbee of Trinity, Richard Lane Barbee and Jerry Wayne Barbee; her brothers, Robert Lee Simpson and Billy Ray Simpson; her grandchildren, Amanda King, Lisa McGraw, Tim McGraw, Katie Furr and Bobby Barbee; her great grandchildren, Lilly Caceres, Heaven Caceres, Mathew King Jr., Mark King, Skylar McGraw, Michelle Barbee, Katelyn Barbee and Roger Coley; and her great great grandchildren, Kiara Ashburn, Roger, Madison Coley, Leland Coley and Kacie Fikes. She is also survived by loving wife for over 40 years as well as a dedicated mother and grandmother to her five sons and numerous grandchildren.
