Wilbur Ford Higgins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilbur Ford Higgins of Locust, North Carolina, who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Wilbur Ford's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Wilbur Ford has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ester Higgins and Carl Higgins; and his daughter Carol Higgins. He is survived by: his wife Belinda Higgins; and his children, Pamela Britchard, Sharon Flynn, Mike Higgins, Mary Higgins and Rachel Murray. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Flowers should be sent to the McEwen Funeral Service on August 22, 2025; in lieu of flowers a donation may be made to VIA Health Partners in Wil's memory.
