She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Hinson, Sr. and Inez Gilbert Hinson; and her brother Gene Hinson, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband John Ward; her sons, Hugh Williams and Craig Lee Williams; her stepson John James Ward, Sr.; her grandchildren, Haley Fowler (Kendal), Addison Williams and Kennison Williams; her stepgrandson John James Ward, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Kenley Fowler, Saylor Fowler and Marley Fowler; and her sister Pamela Hinson Skipper.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the McKeithan Cemetery (2700 Ash Little River Rd NW, Ash, NC 28420).
