He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jane Skinner; his children, Alan Reid "Butch" Skinner, Jr. (Jennifer) of Keene, NH, Derek Joel Skinner (Olivia Ann) of Unionville, Lindsey Skinner Lantz (Brian) of Wilmington, Brian Beatty of Mount Airy and Erin Elizabeth Hardin (Rob) of Maysville; his grandchildren, Shayla, Melissa, Nicholas, Rachel Ann, John Samuel, Jackson Thomas, Gracie Reid, Natalie "Nattie" Noelle, KouriAna, Asa and Taber; his siblings, Charlotte Carlton (Paul) of Portsmouth, NH and Stuart Finch (Glen Royal Baptist Church) of Wake Forest; and his pets, Lily and Melanie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
