Bobby Jean Evans Obituary

Bobby Jean Evans passed away on August 6, 2025Bobby is predeceased by his loving wife Rhonda Evans and his daughter Yolanda Evans.

Bobby leaves behind his daughters, Yvette Goins, Rosetta Jones, Regina Goins, and his son, Sean Evans (Megan Clark). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Christine Degbor, Joshua Sparks, Angela Sparks, Christopher Sparks Jr., Whitney Jones, Brittany Davison (Jerron), Michellae Mahaffey, Erica Brooks, Tanayah Goudeau, Sydney Gabriel, Averie Evans, Kennady Evans and Harper Evans, as well as many great-grandchildren.

Bobby worked for the city of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power for 35 years. He retired and then moved to North Carolina in 1995. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, telling stories and reminiscing. He enjoyed hearing stories from his great-grandchildren and visiting with them. We will always remember Bobby for answering a question with the question, "Is an elephant heavy"?Honoring Bobby's wishes there will not be an immediate service, however a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
