Clyde Herbert Ball Obituary
Clyde "Herbie" Herbert Ball, 82 of Louisburg passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025. He was born on October 8, 1942, to the late William Everett Ball and Frances Juanita Smith Ball in South Shore, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, Herbie is preceded in death by his brother, William Frederick Ball; his sister, Carolyn Grey (Claude); niece Alex McKinney; brothers-in-law Dalton Gray and David McKinney III and his faithful canine companion Harley Ball.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Kelly Thompson, Jaki Swisher and Julia Stallings; siblings, Martha McKinney, Donna Smith, and Jennifer Campbell; sister-in-law Pam Ball; his grandson, Michael Thompson and several nieces and nephews.
Herbie worked as a Mounted Patrol Officer in New Mexico for 18 years. He lived and worked in Los Alamos for over 40 years. He served in the US Navy. He went on to work as an electrician for over 40 years. Herbie was an avid Harley man and loved to ride his motorcycle. He will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him.
Per his wishes, no service will be held.
