David Wilbur Prince Obituary

David Wilbur "Redbone" Prince, 71, passed away on January 18, 2026. David was born on May 10, 1954 to the late Wilbur Bill and Doris Williams Prince. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his first wife, Brenda Ray Prince.

Redbone is survived by his wife, Sherry Solis Prince; his children, Shane Denton (Bonnie), David Prince (Stuart Ann), Mandy Yaravide; his stepson, Kaven Stephenson; grandchildren, Taylar Denton, Kelsi Prince, Colin Denton, Ryder Denton, Gabby Denton, Triston Stephenson, Trevor O'Neal, and Elsa Yaravide; a great-granddaughter, Leilani Marie; and his siblings, Barbara Haire (Terry), Brenda Prince, and Mildred Weaver.

Redbone was known for his humor and his love to joke with others. He enjoyed Nascar racing was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. He loved Truck Pulls and his pull truck "little Red". Redbones world revolved around the love he had for his grandkids. He loved food, listening to bluegrass music on Sunday; and going to Preddy Fest. Redbone loved seeing a well endowed woman. He loved his dog "NaLa" and being outside in the yard and playing with his chickens.

A celebration of Redbone's life will be held at a later date.
