Donna Mae Bartlett Obituary

Donna Mae Carnrike Bartlett, 80, of Louisburg, passed away on August 31, 2026 at Franklin Oaks in Louisburg, NC. Donna was born on January 22, 1946 to the late James and Gladys Bagnall Carnrike in New Berlin NY. Donna was preceded in death by sister Regina Monro and sister-in-law Phyllis Stoddard; Mother-in-law Gladys Bartlett and father-in-law Kenneth Bartlett; Brother-in-laws Dave Monro, Richard Stoddard, Francis (Ken) Bartlett.

Donna is survived by her husband, Lawrence Bartlett of 60 years; her daughter, Michele Perry (Bryan), Julie Devaul (Troy), James Bartlett, Michael Bartlett; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; Sisters Barbara Prentice (Pete) and Debra Wedge (Nelson); Brother-in-laws Leslie Bartlett (Doralee) and Jeffrey Bartlett (Theresa); several nieces and nephews

Donna worked for Procter and Gamble for 24 1/2 years then 2 years of college at Morrisville for childhood development. She went on to open a daycare center where she took care of many children in the area before moving to North Carolina. She worked at a daycare and took more college courses. Donna spent over 50 years knitting and crocheting sweaters, blankets and other miscellaneous items.
