With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Lee Ayscue of Louisburg, North Carolina, born in Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on November 20, 2023 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Lee Ayscue to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Lou Abbott Ayscue and Robert Nathaniel Ayscue; and his brother Robert N. Ayscue, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Patricia Finch Walker-Ayscue; his stepson Jake Dennis Walker; his children, Masa Ayscue Reaves (Derrill) of Epsom and Leon Thomas Ayscue (Jo Ann) of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Garrett Page Reaves and Callie Lynn Reaves; and his siblings, Peggy A. Ayscue of Hendersonville, Catherine A. Duke Harrison (Claude) of Henderson, Bessie A. Simpson (Steve) of Monroe, Michael Wayne Ayscue (Jo Ann) of Rocky Ford and Felton Ray Ayscue of Butner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Gilead Independent Baptist Church Missions Fund, P.O. Box 564 Louisburg, NC 27549.
