He is survived by: his wife Susan Elizabeth Carey Sanderford; his daughters, Carol Kilerease (Michael) and Amy Carter (Robert); and his grandchildren, Ashley Black (Kyle), Christopher Finley (Nicole), Melody Lambert (Gareth) and Cole Carter.
