Milton Thomas Marks Obituary

Milton Thomas Marks passed away peacefully at Hocks Pavilion on Sunday August 2, 2026. He was 79 years old.

Born to Elizabeth Catlett Smith and Jessie Marks on June 26, 1947.

Milton was the life of the party in his younger years but once he settled down to a quieter lifestyle he was a loving person who enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hanging out at Jacks with his older friends and being a great grandpa and great grandpa. He loved his pulpwood job and hobby for many years. He accepted Jesus as his savior and knew he would walk with the lord in his afterlife. He attended Union Baptist Church.

He was Married to Linda Moss Marks of Butner for over 30 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sisters Mattie Tart , Patsy Waite , Brother James "Pete" Williams.

He is survived by his wife Linda Moss Marks of Butner, his sister Shannon Beadles step-children Roy Beck (Sherry) Michelle Beck, Step Grandchildren Marissa Mullens, Nolan Mullens, Paisley Mullens, Dillon Beck and Sydney Beck. His step great grandchildren, Demi Mullens, Tatum Beck, Tenley Beck, and Bailey Mullens.

As well a host of nieces and nephews.

Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services in Louisburg, NC is handling the cremation.
