He is survived by: his wife Carol Hurst; his children, Stephanie Hurst (Ken Cordova) of Louisburg, Nicholas Hurst (Rhonda Maness) of Bonlee, Jeremiah Hurst of Knightdale, Brianna Hurst (Joseph Davis) of Louisburg and Brandon Hurst; his grandchildren, Summer, Alyssa Gonzalez, Kadyn, Brantley, Natalie, Zander, Zaiden and Adalynne Hurst; his siblings, Ann Larson, Matthew Hurst, David Hurst and Christopher Hurst (Laura); his brother-in-law Raymond Byrd; his close friend Mark Appleton; and his aunt Jackie Wells. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
