She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Dockery and Sally Dockery; and her siblings, Robert and Barbara. She is survived by: her husband Paul Buchanan; her children, Norman Roberts (Tammy), Reece Roberts (Kathy) and Jody Lockaby (Eddie); her stepdaughter Drenda Hardy (John Kaylor); her siblings, Jim Dockery and Mary Scissom; and her mother-in-law Juanita Buchanan. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Edgewood Cemetery (399 N Church St, Lowell, NC 28098).
