She was predeceased by: her parents, Garney Morrow and Irene Hughes Morrow; her husband Wally Saunders; her children, Rosie Williams and Rob Long; and her siblings, Jim Morrow and Ann McKnight.
She is survived by: her nieces, Kim Collins (Zack) and Sharon Waynick (Scott); her siblings-in-law, James McKnight and Janice Grice (Bill); and her granddaughters, Christie Gulley (Travis), Ashley Eller (Kenneth), Hayley Navey (Jacob) and Kelsey Welborn (Randall). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and numerous extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Woodlawn Baptist Church (1101 N Main St, Lowell, NC 28098). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
