We bid farewell to Jerry Donnon Pettis of Lucama, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 20, 2025 at the age of 87. Jerry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dutch Pettis and Mary Pettis. He is survived by: his brother Bob Pettis; his sister-in-law Ellen Pettis; his nephew Jason Pettis; and his great-nephew Jeremy Pettis of Hesperia, California.. He is also survived by his family which includes all of his friends.

The military honors will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Selma Memorial Gardens (Selma, NC 27576).
