He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Ryals Evans; his wife Rene Gray Evans; his children, Daniel Evans (Kristen) and Elisabeth Evans; his brother Steve Evans; his mother-in-law Jean Gray; and his grandchildren, Paige and Grayson Evans.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parrish Funeral Home (1351 S Pollock St, Selma, NC 27576). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Riverside Independent Baptist Church (1730 NC-222, Kenly, NC 27542).
