Pauline Ferrell Pope Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pauline Ferrell Pope of Lucama, North Carolina, who passed away on September 20, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William D. "Billy" Pope; her parents, Alonza Ferrell and Nola Taylor Ferrell; and her siblings, Margie Jones, Josephine Bryant, Nancy Irene Ferrell, Vernon Ferrell and Vance Ferrell.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Pope (Jo Ann) of Kenly, David Pope (Betty) of Kenly and Denise Blalock (David) of Wilson; her grandchildren, Olivia Strickland (Bennett) of Fayetteville, Erin Walton (Chris) of Garner and Collin Blalock (Ashley) of Wilson; her great grandchildren, Mia Walton, Gray, Palmer Strickland and Alaina Blalock; and her siblings, Bet Taylor of Wilmington and Fuzzy Ferrell (Yvonne) of Lucama. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kenly Town Cemetery (610 W 2nd St, Kenly, NC 27542).
