He is survived by: his children, Michelle Hurd (Wally) of Parkton, NC, Denise Cuiffo (Joe) of Bay Shore, NY, Peter (Jamie) of Hope Mills, NC and Christopher of Hope Mills, NC; his grandchildren, Victoria Armstrong (Daniel), Tyler, Jared, Blake, Billie, Daniel, Amara, Aiden, Katherine and Samuel; his great grandchildren, Finnley, Rowan, Sonni Rae and Sweetie Sheila; his pets, Shadow, Cat and Mini Pearl; and also Chrisjohn.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crumpler Funeral Home (131 Harris Ave, Raeford, NC 28376). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery (8220 Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28390).
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made in honor of Dennis to the Gary Sinise Foundation in support of America's heroes.
