She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Stephens and Ada Ruth Haywood Callahan; and her siblings, Albert Freeman and Janet Miller. She is survived by: her close friend Larry Jacobs; her sons, Adam Hammonds (Kristian) of Lumberton, NC, James Stephens of Ft. Polk, LA and Johnny Lee Haywood (Rebecca) of Orrum, NC; her siblings, David Callahan (Kelly) of Orrum, NC, Junior Stephens of Western, NC, Debra Callahan (Buddy Pittman) of White Lake, NC and Theresa Davis of Orrum, NC; and her friend Melissa Hill. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
