He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eberts Locklear and Emae B. Locklear of Pembroke; his wife Laurie Oxendine; his siblings, Alice Faye Locklear, Sheila Kaye Harris and Virgil Oxendine (Robert Canida); and his siblings-in-law, Herman L. and Loretta O. Oxendine. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
