She was predeceased by: her parents, Deloris Chavis Mangum and Billy Ray Rogers; her grandparents, Sam Chavis and Audia Hunt Chavis; and her aunts and uncles, Wilson Chavis, Jerry Wayne Chavis, Marvie Sampson and Annie Lee Chavis.
She is survived by: her son Justin Chavis; her grandchildren, Harmony, Nathaniel and Malachi; her uncle Willard "Bo" Chavis (Mary Lois) of Shannon, NC; her aunts, Regina Hardin (Jerry) of Fairmont, NC, Sharma Carter (Luther "Bud") of Fairmont, NC and Lou Anner Greenway (Kenneth) of Fairmont, NC; and her pets, Tigger and Cocoa. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
