She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Derwood and Mabel West; her husbands, William David Israel, Charles Luby Barnes and Thomas Roosevelt Miller; her children, Charles "Chuck" Barnes and Mary Denise Britt; and her son-in-law Garry Britt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicky Talton (Johnny) of Lumberton, NC and Jan Lee (Tommy) of Lumberton, NC; her adoptive son Donnie Britt (Rita) of Newport News, VA; and her grandchildren, Tonya Britt Long (Chris) of Bladenboro, NC, William Talton of Lumberton, NC, Lee Britt of Lumberton, NC, Chad Barnes (Chandler) of Lumberton, NC, Chris Norton of Lumberton, NC and Samantha Strickland (Mario) of Lumberton, NC. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
