He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bullard and Lilar Bullard; his grandson JoJo Lewis II; his niece Lorrie Mizzell; and his sisters, Elizabeth Warwick, Edna Cox and Eva Mizzell.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Bullard; and his children, Avander Jimmy Bullard (Patricia) of Lumberton, Earl Bullard (Gina) of Shannon, Robbie Ann Barbour (Robby Lee) of Lumberton and Pollyanna McMillan (Christopher) of Kannapolis, NC. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
