It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jordan (Lumberton, North Carolina), who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Julian Pope; and her brothers, James Oxendine (Tony) and Julian Pope Oxendine (Buddy). She is survived by: her daughter Jerri Taylor (Artis); her grandson Jordan Taylor (Amber); her sister Jean McCormick; and her sister-in-law Lois Oxendine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
