He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Parker and Mable Downing Parker; and his siblings, Joseph Parker, Carl Parker, Dolly Kinlaw, Helen Phillips and Mary Suggs.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine Dale Taylor Parker; his children, Bertin Keith Parker (Donna) of Orrum, NC, Ricky Parker of Lumberton, NC and Wanda Kay Jackson of Lumberton, NC; and his grandchildren, Kristen, Lauren, Jessica, Mary Catherine, Ashley and Russell. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
