With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Nye (Lumberton, North Carolina), who passed away on December 9, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Graham McLean and Ann Wilkinson McLean; her husband English Troy Nye, Jr.; and her sister Jean McLean. She is survived by: her children, Steven Nye (Linda) of Shelby, NC, Susan Lewis (Vince) of Wilmington, NC and Elizabeth McKee (William) of Charlotte, NC; her brother Graham Wilkinson McLean (Peggy Ann) of Lumberton, NC; her grandchildren, Stephen Lewis (Kellie) and Abbey McGranahan (Zeke); and her great grandchildren, Blakely and Maverick.
In lieu of flowers, donations of time or money may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church of Lumberton or the charity of your choice.
