He is survived by: his children, Rose Baker (Dontrell), Billy Carl Chavis Jr. (Megan), Jonie Chavis (Thomas), Sophia Eddings (Adam), Alexandra Chavis and Noah Duprey; and his siblings, Jerry Chavis, Paulette Eastridge, Sadie Chavis, Annie Ivey and Linda Miller. He is also survived by many half-brothers and sisters, several nieces and nephews, family and friends.
