He was predeceased by: his parents, William West and Tishie Hardin West; his wife Barbara West; and his siblings, Eugene West, Billy West, Thomas "Bunch" West, Dickie West and Joyce Rozier.
He is survived by: his son Steven West (Jeanie) of Lumberton, NC; his grandchildren, Stephanie Smith (Jonathan) of Lumberton, NC and Ashley Davis of Lumberton, NC; his great grandchildren, Jase Smith and Xander Richards; his sisters, Juanita West and Bonnie Townsend; his sisters-in-law, Ella Raney of Lumberton, NC and Kathy Rooks of Lumberton, NC; and his pet Pebbles.
