He is survived by: his wife Victoria Melvin; his sons, Kevin Melvin (LeAnn) of Rowland, NC, Don Jacobs (Lani) of Fort Lauderdale and Brian Jacobs (Nicole) of Greenville, NC; his grandchildren, Lorelai, Magnolia Melvin, Austin, Taylor Jacobs, Alaqua, Angeni and Aiyanah Jacobs; and his siblings, Johnnie Michael "Mike" Melvin (Gail) of Lumberton and Peggy Rhinerson (Greg) of Boonville, Indiana.. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
