He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jethro, Ella Locklear, Danny and Gretel Mae Scott; his niece Alani Nicole Locklear; and his father Bobby Locklear.
He is survived by: his wife April Dawn Scott; his children, Alisha Marie Scott (Jordan Lowry) of Raeford, NC and Christopher Lynn Scott, Jr. (Destine Locklear) of Maxton, NC.; his mother Dora Locklear of Red Springs, NC; his siblings, Bobby Locklear, Jr. (Wanda Locklear) of Red Springs, NC, Lavonda McKenzie (Damon McKenzie) of Sacramento, CA and Lakeisha Locklear (Joshua Locklear) of Raeford, NC; and his grandchildren, Erial Lowry, Arial Lowry, Danielle Lowry, Dannie Lowry, Journii Scott and Josielynn Scott.
