It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Brooks (Lumberton, North Carolina), who passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Sampson and Teresa Brooks; her grandparents, J. C. Brooks and Clara Mae Taylor; and her brothers, John C. Brooks, Jerry Brooks and Raven Sampson (Cowboy).
She is survived by: her husband Blanton Rogers; her siblings, Deangles Locklear (Lawana), Anthony Brooks (Jan), Dwight Brooks (Carol), Patrick Brooks (Ashleigh), Lisa Oxendine, Candice Sampson, Courtney Sampson, Lola Deese (Terry) and Sonya Murray (Tim); her children, Shawn Brooks (Savannah) of Lumberton, NC, Miranda Rogers (Naaman Owens, Jr) of Lumberton, NC, Lula Mae Rogers of Pembroke, NC, Lisa Brooks of Lumberton, NC, Angel Locklear of Lumberton, NC, Hope Hull of Lumberton, NC, Austin Locklear of Red Springs, NC and Isaac Nesby of Red Springs, NC; and her grandchildren, Airanizzia Rogers, Malani Rogers, Colton Brooks, Riya Brooks and Stormie Brooks.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Revels Funeral Home (3575 N Roberts Ave, Lumberton, NC 28360). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
