He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Jacobs and Robbie Mae Jacobs; and his brothers, Therman Locklear, Leon Jacobs, Ruben Jacobs and Iumus Jacobs.
He is survived by: his siblings, Steve Locklear of Rennert, Danny Chavis (Elaine) of Lumberton, Alice Puckett (Charles) of Charlotte, Alice Faye Chavis of Lumberton, Annie Lowery (Tommy) of Lumberton, Mary Land of St. Pauls and Patty Jacobs of St. Pauls; his close friend Jason Locklear of St. Pauls; and his aunts, Mary Jacobs of Fayetteville and Martha Locklear of Lumberton. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
