It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colon Oxendine (Lumberton, North Carolina), who passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackie and Mary E. Oxendine; and his siblings, Jackie Oxendine (Lumberton), Lowell Dean Oxendine and Janice Locklear (Rowland).
He is survived by: his wife Janice Oxendine; his children, Laura Sampson (Kenneth) of Lumberton, Angela Oxendine of Rowland, Linda Blue (Chris) of Rowland, Lora Oxendine (Raymond Hunt) of Rowland and Colon Ray Oxendine; his siblings, Marie Locklear (Lumberton), Hubert Oxendine (Lumberton) and Frank Oxendine (Rowland); his brother-in-law Lenard Jones; and his son Johnny Lowery (Robin). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
