It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Command Sergeant Wyatt Johnson of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife LaJoan Johnson; his parents, Douglas Johnson and Alberta Johnson; and his brothers, Douglas Johnson Jr. and Alpetty Johnson.

He is survived by: his children, Roxanne Henley (Raymond) of Fayetteville, Grace Thompson (Jerry) of Bladenboro, Anita Johnson of Raleigh and Charles Johnson (Pam) of Raleigh. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
