Della left this world on October 15, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Howard F. Zeigler Jr.; and her children, Jessie L. Clark, Dorothy B. Oxendine, Della M. Cervantes and Howard F. Zeigler III.
She is survived by: her children, John W. Zeigler of Virginia, Mary Hunt (Greg) of Lumberton, NC, Cathaline Bryant (Kenny) of Maxton, NC and Jessica Lynn Clark of Pembroke, NC; her niece Tammy Jacobs of Fairmont; her son-in-law Philip Oxendine; and her close friend Carol Locklear. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Worley Mortuary & Cremation Services (200 Sandy St, Fairmont, NC 28340). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
