She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Lefford McGirt and Annie Lee McGirt; her husband Robert Anthony Hunt; and her siblings, Lisa Oxendine, Teddy McGirt, Micheal Carl McGirt and Donald McGirt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brandy McGirt of Lumberton and Shelley Hunt-Jones (Ricky Lee Jones Jr.) of Rowland; her grandchildren, Tyler Mitchell, Tristan Mitchell, Enoli Jones and Ellie Grace Jones; her close friend Jennifer Hall; and her siblings, Wanda Locklear of Pembroke, Betty Dial of Pembroke, Rose Henderson of Lumberton, Beverly Chandler (Larry Chandler) of Raeford, Cincore McGirt (Coy), Denny McGirt (Tammy McGirt) and Danny McGirt (Betty Mcgirt). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
