She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Lee Olson; her parents, Alfred Britt and Perlene Britt; her sister Lynda Walters; and her brother-in-law Charles Register.
She is survived by: her children, Mechelle, William (Karen) and Phillip; her grandchildren, Isiah (Amelia) and Shaylah (Dustin); her great grandchildren, Junior, Jerriah, Josiah and Jailyn; her sisters, Peggy Register, Judy Bentley (Marvin), Susan Bass (Robbie) and Jeanna Britt; her brothers-in-law, Butch Walters, Jerry Baker (Letha) and Ronald Baker (Nancey); and her brother Gary Nance (Sheila). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Revels Funeral Home (3575 N Roberts Ave, Lumberton, NC 28360). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Alfred and Pearline Family Cemetery (1613 E McRainey Rd, St Pauls, NC 28384).
